Day 01

Arrive Cochin.  Transfer to hotel.  Spend the day exploring the
diversity of this city.  You can visit the Jewish Synagogue, the Jewish community here dates back to the time of St. Thomas's voyage to India in AD 52, as well as the Dutch Palace.  Overnight Cochin.

Day 02

Drive to Periyar game sanctuary (5 hrs).  Evening boat ride.
Overnight Spice Village.

Day 03

Full day at Periyar game sanctuary. Overnight Spice Village.

Day 04

Drive to Coconut Lagoon (4 1/2 hrs).  Coconut Lagoon is located
in the backwaters at Kumarakom.  You will drive for most of the journey & do the last part of the journey by boat.  Overnight Coconut Lagoon.

Day 05

Day at leisure.  Overnight Coconut Lagoon.

Day 06

Drive to Kovalam Beach.  Rest of the day at leisure.  Overnight
Kovalam.

Day 07

Full day sightseeing including Padmanabhapuram palace.  The
palace is superbly constructed of local teak and granite.  The
architecture is exquisite, with ceilings carved in floral patterns,
windows inlaid with jewel coloured mica and floors finished to a high
polish with local materials.  Overnight Kovalam.

Day 08

Day free to relax on the beach at Kovalam.

Day 09

Morning at leisure.  Evening depart.
