Itinerary
19 OCT.  Arrive in Kolkata. Receive a traditional welcome. Then take a guided tour of the city. See enthralling classical and modern dances in the evening.

20 OCT.  Walk around Dalhousie Square, the commercial and colonial hub. Take a Heritage tram ride. Discover the myths and legends of the Mahotsav first hand from a guide. See illuminations and pujas by night.

21 OCT.  Visit Puja sites, witness rituals, then cruise on the River Hooghly and end the day with a sumptuous local dinner and meet the city's elite.

22 OCT.  A Special Interest Day. Free for shopping, golfing, exhibitions, museums or films. Evening for arts and crafts, music and dances of rural Bengal.

23 OCT.  Enjoy the Navaratri festival in the morning.
Afternoon: the ritual of SindurKhela(a vibrant play of colours) as the ladies bid goodbye to Durga.
Evening: See the wonderful Dussera Festival and later watch the amazing immersion ceremony of the idol in the river. Bid farewell to the city at a Grand finale at the hotel.
